Accessibility Statement

The MSME Aklan portal is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

This website strives to conform to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, which is the standard adopted by the Philippine government under the Nationwide Accessibility Compliance Program and referenced by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of the United States.

• Keyboard navigation — all interactive elements are accessible via keyboard tab key.
• Skip-to-content link — available at the top of every page to bypass repeated navigation.
• Responsive design — the portal works across desktop, tablet, and mobile viewports.
• Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images.
• High contrast — all text meets WCAG AA contrast ratio requirements.
• Focus indicators — visible focus rings on all interactive elements.

Despite our best efforts, some pages or content may not be fully accessible. Known limitations include:

• Some third-party document uploads (PDFs) may not be screen-reader compatible.
• The Google Maps embed on the Business Map Directory page may have limited keyboard navigation.
• The Rich Text Editor (used for blog content) may have complex nested structures.

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of this portal. If you encounter any accessibility barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us:
